There's something special about seeing our volunteers, society members and friends gathered together - and that's exactly what made our Volunteer Poker Evening such a success.
Designed as a relaxed thank-you and training evening ahead of our upcoming Poker Night, the invite-only event brought together familiar faces for plenty of laughs, conversation and a few friendly rounds of Texas Hold'em. While everyone was sharpening their poker skills, the real jackpot was the opportunity to strengthen the connections that make The Lyric Theatre events team so unique to be a part of.
The evening also gave guests an exclusive first taste of many exciting additions to our events offering. Our eagerly anticipated cocktail menu proved an instant hit, while Emma, our master chef, unveiled an outstanding deluxe menu that had everyone talking. Judging by the enthusiastic response, you can expect to see several of these delicious creations making appearances at selected future events.
